Here's Jeannette/Bernadette's mother, Elaine.
I feel so bad for both Mothers. Elaine has to go the rest of her life knowing something she gave the world took so much. And poor Berit, who gave the world something as beautiful as Kirsten gets a life without her.
I read somewhere that Berit sued Bernadette, I will have to research that and get back to you guys.

She deserved to be sued because look at thé grief berit and Arthur went through and still have to go everyday without their beloved child while jeannetre aka bernadettes mother gets to see her! Thé costas deserve every dîme Bernadette has and then some!

Not sure if this is correct, but I read that the Costas family dropped their wrongful death lawsuit because they couldn't find Bernadette. I hope they pursue it again now that she's been identified.
Isn't there like a statute of limitations. I know if I didn't sue the nursing homes that killed my Mom within 2 years time I couldn't sue them. But it's too bad that she was allowed to change her name and go on living like it never happened.

No parent should ever have to go through the pain of having their child taken away by murder. I read somewhere that Bernadette might have been an accident baby because there is a large age gap between her and her siblings. What a shame her Mother decided to have her.
Bernadette obviously had issues. People on here claim they know her personally I don't think so, it s possible though. Nancy Kane Mark knew her personally they were friends somewhat.

I'm curious to know if anyone on here ever spoken to Bernadette since she got out of jail. I hope for her sake and the sake of her husband and children that she is rehabilitated. What she did was horrible!
Bernadette is was, and alway's be a monster. She deserved to be shunned, if anyone does. Karen Severson. and Laura Doyle got life, they're out now, and they're not hiding their identity. I don't feel sorry for them as well,and, I don't feel sorry for Bernadette at all. How can anyone support this monsterous witch, in court, or on here. She can't change what she did, she took a life, I don't care if she is rehabilitated, not going to bring Kirsten back. She killed once, she's capable of it again.
How can someone be rehabilitated after such a horrible murder? She was perceived as sweet by some but she must have been harbouring a lot of hate towards Kirsten for a long time in order to freak out and murder her the way she did. Sweet my ass.

I just looked up the Costas and I feel bad...On LinkedIn it shows who other people have searched and right on the bottom of the page are relatives of the Protti family that others have searched for...I think this is only recorded for people who actually used their LinkedIn accounts but there is an option to make your searches private. The Costas probably already know and perhaps are the ones who searched, but I doubt it. I think this blog does well enough documenting and I will limit my searches or make sure my profiles are private.
I saw a Facebook page on Jeannette Tomanka who is a writer. I googled and it said bernadette protti changed her name to Jeanettee something then married, had a kid & is now Jeannette Tomanka. Anybody know if this is her?
If you’ve seen the movie “Death of a Cheerleader” well this is the killer, Bernadette Protti. She killed her classmate ,Kirsten Costas, out of jealousy. STABBED her to death. she only served 7 years in prison. When she was released, she changed her name to Jeanette Tomanka. She got married, had 2 kids, became CEO of a company and lives a nice life..while the girl she murdered was only 15-years-old and will never get to do those things!!! 😡😢Tbh she looks creepy as hell 😳

Bernadette didn't give evidence of bullying, meme. Do you know something Bernadette didn't know?
Right this wasn’t about “ bullying” it was about jealousy. Bernadette wasn’t bullied, she was in that group. So meme get your facts straight and stop going by the movie, I’m sick and tired of hearing about that movie and how Kirsten was deployed by it. Bullying only effects people who allow it to effect them, even if that was the case, which BTW it wasn’t. I’m also tired of hearing about Bernadette being bullied, and how it effects people. You have to like yourself and if you like yourself who cares if no one likes you. But if you like yourself you have self assurance and are usually liked to start with, insecure people usually don’t like themselves and let themselves get to that point by listening to other insecure idiots that put them down to start with so they can boost up thier self esteem. Kirsten had no reason to be insecure or boost up her self worth, she had lots of confidence in herself.
So just drop the bullying part and the movie, cause that’s not how it went down in real life. The movie was just to make it interesting so people would watch it, making Bernadette a (wanna bee) that had a hard time fitting in when she was their friend as well. Kirsten was plain spoken and all, I agree, but she didn’t bully, her life was to consumed with school and activities in the school. She had more important things to do, and was a good student on top of that.
All you lot ever do is bully people who have a different opinion to you! Grow up and act you're age!
