Jeannette asks for forgiveness on blog! Brings up murder!!!!!

Mocking and insulting her in general or mocking and insulting her looks?

I don't see the point in mocking her looks, but I can understand why she is insulted in general. Judging from her behaviour after Kirsten's murder, she was detached about what she had done.

She was able to coolly take a walk with her mother after she murdered Kirsten and nothing was reported to be amiss with her behaviour.

She was able to discuss Kirsten's murder in class with classmates, some of which included Kirsten's friends.

She was able to attend Kirsten's funeral knowing she was the one responsible for putting Kirsten in a coffin.

She stabbed Kirsten in the neck (which hit the carotid artery). She stabbed Kirsten in the arm, twice in the stomach, and hacked a two, two foot wound down her back which lacerated organs. It was reported that nothing changed with her behaviour after Kirsten's murder. She was described as her "usual smiley self".

She followed Kirsten to the stranger's House Kirsten sought help from to get away from Bernadette. Bernadette then followed Kirsten all the way to Kirsten's House when she just wanted to get away from her.

When she knew the FBI discovered it was her that killed Kirsten, she was reported to have no remorse and said "I didn't think you would be able to prove it".

She watched on as her community wrongly blamed two innocent girls for Kirsten's murder.

She was reported to have eagerly issues when she was detained in the juvenile facility.

Perhaps it wasn't the best idea to create a FB page and refer to herself as a "life hacker". I know "life hacks" refers to shortcuts but a murderer referring to themselves as a life hacker will undoubtedly raise eyebrows, especially when one thinks of the ghastly wounds Bernadette inflicted Kirsten with.

Another inappropriate point was when Bernadette was asked the question "lifehacker. What does that mean to you? " She used a winky smiley emotion in her answer which not only suggested it was a nod to Kirsten's murder, but that she also thought it was amusing.

Suggesting on her blog that people shouldn't bring up the past mistakes of other people that might have resulted in a desth. A mistake is absentmindedly locking your car keys in your car. Kirsten's murder was deliberate. Bernadette could have and should have turned back home instead of luring Kirsten out of her house under false pretences. Luring anyone out of their house under Dale pretences, particularly someone you don't know very well(which was the case for Kirsten and Bernadette) is not going to endear you to that person. Bernadette should have and could have turned back home instead of following Kirsten to the strangers House. Bernadette should have and could have turned back home instead of following Kirsten to her house when she wanted to be left alone. Bernadette could have and should have stayed in her car when Kirsten was banging on her neighbours door. Kirsten's murder didn't need to happen and shouldn't have happened and there were many chances for her to go home. If she was worried about what Kirsten thought of her or what she might say to other people about what was discussed in the car, she could have spoken to her mutual friend that was also close with Kirsten and dealt with it.

Anything is possible, I guess. She apparently wants to remain anonymous, but her public Facebook page and blog will obviously arouse interest and draw attention to her. It would be great to read about what really happened in the car that night and if she made money it would be great if she donated it to a worthy cause. Her behavior after Kirsten's murder spoke volumes. She calmly took a walk with her mother shortly after Kirsten's murder and nothing strange was reported about her behaviour. She was described as her "happy smiley self" during the summer after Kirsten's murder and the months leading up to her arrest. She said she could block the murder out of her mind. She was reported to have participated in class discussions about Kirsten's murder with other classmates, some of which included Kirsten's friends. She was reported to have "thrived" after Kirsten's murder. The FBI agent who interviewed Bernadette stated that she only felt sorry for herself, not the fact that she murdered Kirsten. She was reported to have cried for herself in court and not for the poor girl she killed. Her general attitude was all "me, me, me, me, me". If she really felt bad for what she did, why hasn't she explained why she killed Kirsten? Why didn't she give Kirsten's parents that closure (for want of a better word)

The above are facts. If you don't agree with it, wouldn't it be more productive to explain why instead of telling someone to "shut the fuck up".

I got the impression that the winky smiley face alluded to Kirsten's murder. Two other people that I could see got the same impression. One was disgusted and deleted and the other person who found it amusing wasn't deleted. I don't know if the comment is still visible on her FB page.

I read the classification manual. Thank you for letting me know about it. I don't think it was mentioned that Kirsten also had a neck wound where the carotid artery was hit. The wounds that Kirsten suffered from were so long. I was aware of the two long wounds down her back, which were horrific. I wasnt aware that the frontal wound was so long. She was reported to be a petite person, so I imagine the frontal wound was the full length of her stomach, which is horrible to think about. The manual stated that the frontal wound and two back wounds would have been fatal on their own. The poor girl suffered terribly. The manual also stated that the murder happened because Kirsten "rebuffed" Bernadette's friendship. Did Bernadette say that was her motive?

She always gave hugs and always spoke and said hello in the hallways, KK,CD and KW were her close friends as well, they were on homecoming court senior year,CD was Homecoming Queen. Kirsten would of been on homecoming court to, possibly Bernadette, Bernadette was not bullied or the victim Randall Sullivan made her out to be, and Kirsten was not the mean girl bully Randall Sullivan portrayed her to be as well. The movie portrayed Bernadette as a desperate wanna bee and it was'nt at all that way for her, not even close. The 2 goth girls blamed they did" nt get to come back to school that year, they were asked not to by Branislav Yaichs principal. He felt it"d be best given the situation, Nancy came back Senior year and did fine. There were girls singled out and bullied depends on the side of the tracks you're from, Miramonte is a competitive place its about keeping up with the Jones either you do or dont. From someone who knows.

We all were upset it not only affected the Costas"s, it affected all of Kirstens friends and classmates. It was so hard not seeing Kirsten at school. There are so many teenagers that have gotten a life without parole for the same exact thing what makes her any different and I agree that citizens should be able to know if she's living in their neighborhood around their kids
Child molesters have to register I believe that people murderers who murder people should have to register as a murderer and they should have consequences just like a sex offender has.
